Joe Parajecki Bio

Occupation: Grocery Meat Manager

Skills: Scout Craft, Cooking, People

Hobbies: Fishing, Camping, Computers

Scouting Background: I have been involved in one way or another in Scouting since 1978. I completed Cub Scouts earning my AOL and went into the Boy Scout Troop where I just missed Eagle. I have a Life rank award.

I also earned all of my Catholic Religious Medals

I held several positions with the Troop, including SPL. When I aged out, I continued as an Assistant Scout Master, and after the Troop dissolved, I was asked by my District Commissioner to work with units which then led me to work on the Council Board.

Fast forward a few more years, and we live in another Council’s area. My son brought home a flyer and said he wanted to join this, I of course agreed, and two years later I am the Cubmaster, the District Training Chair, I serve as the Council Chair for the CCOS, and I am a proud member of the Fox Patrol C-27-07 and have earned my beads

I also take an active role in providing events for all Cub Scouts in our Council and will do just about anything for the boys.

Besides all the Training sessions we do, I am also an active instructor for Pow Wows, Teaching up to 4 classes. I love to show other leaders that yes they can!

In my second year in this Council, I was awarded the District Spark Plug Award, one step below the District Award of Merit. I was nominated by one of my good Scouting friends and our Committee Chair.

I have become one of the GO TO GUYS

General Background: I grew up in Milwaukee, WI, and loved the big city, but now that I live in a small town, I wouldn’t trade it for the World.

I attended Catholic Schools until I got to college opting for a Trade School, where I learned how to be a Chef. I graduated top in my class and went to work for many restaurants.

I met my Wife in one of those restaurants.

We are proud Parents of a little girl (well not so little anymore) and of course my son.

After having children, I realized that I wanted to spend time with my family, so I took three months off and found a job in the grocery store cutting meat. Love having time to spend with my family. I now have a life!

We bought an old Victorian home in the small Village of Waterford in Wisconsin, and I couldn’t feel more at home than right here.
