Boy Scouts Nashville Folding Flag

Reporter Joshua Maxwell interviews Boy Scout Chris Levell asking him “Why is folding the flag so important?” Chris Levell replies that one should respect everything about the nation. As Americans everyone should know how to fold a flag, when to take it down, when to fly the flag specially (eg: half mast). Boy Scout camps raise the flag every morning and take it down in the evening and during rainfall.

To fold a flag, first fold it in half vertically. Then the red and white part is raised to the top and folded in half again. A triangle is made at the red and white end and the flag is folded horizontally.
