Hello Everyone,

Well the last time I made an entry my son's and their friends where still Webelos 2's.  They bridged last Sunday and this Friday was their first Troop meeting.  All but one moved into the Troop.

Sunday when they bridged I was so proud all of them walked across the bridge to the 2 Troops there the boys were becoming a part of.  It was a happy sad moment for me.  I went from being my son's Den Leader to being my son's Scoutmaster.  I was asked by the local District to start a Special Needs Troop and I said yes.  2 of the boys in my Den are joining my Troop and the Troop associated with my Pack and 2 boys are interested in visiting us when we start the Special Needs Troop.

Friday was the first Troop meeting for all the boys.  They came in knowing what to expect and all had fun.  After the meeting they were all so excited for the next Troop meeting.  One of my son's is going to go on the next camping trip and is excited about all things Boy Scouts.
