What are the requirements for the 50-Miler Award? What recognition items are available for the National Honor Patrol Award? Where can I find more information on the Leave No Trace Award?

You can find the answers to those questions – and many more – at Awards Central, a new section of the BSA website that covers non-advancement awards such as those mentioned above. The idea is to provide high-level information about each award, including an overview, who can earn the award, how to get the award, and catalog numbers for the recognition item(s) that go with the award. You’ll often also find a link to the award application.

Visit Awards Central today at www.scouting.org/scoutsource/Awards_Central.aspx to get answers to your burning questions – and perhaps discover a new award or two that your Scouts could earn.
