So a new online tour plan is coming. See scout wire http://scout-wire.org/2012/02/29/new-tour-and-activity-plan-to-be-unveiled/. Apparently councils are really going to stop approving tour plans. The app seems to be a big improvement over the current system. You can also badger you DE to let let you play with it now.

Here is an excerpt:

The new online tour and activity plan has been developed and will soon be ready for use. When compared to the former tour permit process, the new plan will no longer require signatures or approvals. Rather, as the plan is completed online, the required prerequisites for that type of trip or activity will be displayed.

oh yes, i think that ten is reasonable. but what does that make my 12? laura sold ciokoes for years and years... but is no longer a girl scout. but our neighbors are! i have a strict rule about girl scout ciokoes :) the girl has to ask me (not the mom!) and i will buy at least one box. i had to start this rule when i was working at the elementary school... i can't bear to say no to one of them who has the courage to ask, and that first year i ended up with far more than the reasonable number! i'm not sure i even have a favorite...
