In the fifth book of this twelve part series, written by Maj. Archibald Lee Fletcher, finds the boys of the Beaver Patrol of Beverly, Indiana, as they continue to build and grow their patrol. These boys, living shortly after the turn of the 20th century, decide to form their own fledgling Boy Scout troop – the first in their area. It is the dawn of the scouting movement in America. The boys have to overcome the skepticism of their elders, as well as attempts at sabotage by a gang of tough boys from the ‘wrong side of the tracks’ who are determined to supplant the Beaver Patrol with their own twisted version of a scout patrol.

Boy Scouts Woodcraft Lesson @Attia on 07/10/2012 I live in California, and I stopped buniyg Girl Scout cookies a long time ago. My granddaughers will not be in the Girl Scouts. The Girls Scout books and teachings are too much into radical feminism in some areas now. I buy from the Boy Scouts, though. Some Girl Scout groups are worse than others, but from what I have heard, the liberalism is coming down from the top and is infiltrating to the bottom. Some groups are fighting it though, but beware. |
