Scout Greeting Cards

By: Posted On: 2011-12-05

I am one of those annoying people who will stand in front of the greeting card display every year, trying to make up my mind as to which style really speaks to me and which style will say to others “This card totally represents that family!”.  It’s just a silly card, right?  If I’m lucky it will be saved or at least recycled, but more than likely it will land in the circular file (trash bin).

My boss turned me on to Scout Greeting Cards (http://www.scoutgreetingcards.com) and I instantly loved these cards!  (Really I did.  I’m not getting any kind of advertising kickback.) In fact, I’m getting a set of my own. The artwork was designed by Scouts and all the cards relate to Scouting in some way.  The cards really could be collectible – the art is just that pretty – and would be a great idea for packs to use as holiday cards when visiting groups like retirement homes, children’s homes, etc.  The price for these cards is $6 for a set of 4 cards, all with different images, and there are price breaks for mulitple packs ordered (check the site for more information). If I had to make one complaint, in the interest of total honesty, it would only be that there aren’t any Girl Scouting-related cards.  However, this company is brand-new, so that may well change in the near future (hint, hint

Before you buy your holiday cards at the store this year, give this site a look.  Even if you just want a set of cards for yourself or to frame as a gift (what a neat idea!), it’s definitely worth the few minutes spent paying the guys at Scout Greeting Cards a visit.

In Scouting,

Jen
