'Trusting'
(Family Book p. 25)

This month, discuss learning to be trustworthy.
'Honest Abe' and 'George Washington, who
couldn't tell a lie,' are great examples of honesty. Talk about Trust. How does someone earn the
trust of others? What is honesty? Have your children draw pictures of people they can trust,
then discuss what these people have done to earn that trust. Use role-playing games and create
scenarios where telling the truth, or doing the right thing, might be challenged. Help
them learn that choosing to do the right is always best.
