Folk Tales

This idea could provide closing ceremonies for the whole month, and help the boys pass their American Folklore achievement.

The Den Leader could provide for the boys to choose stories from or she could copy certain stories and let each boy choose one to take home and prepare for the next den meeting. For the closing ceremony, the boys would sit around their "campfire" and then one or two boys could tell or read their Indian folk tales. The Den Leader could make the ceremony more important by rewarding each boy with an Indian tie slide as he completes his story.
