SONG SERVICE SONG I HEARD THE CUBS
Tune – Winter Wonder Land, Tune - I heard the Bells
In December, we can think of service, I heard the call of cubs on day,
And plan of all the people we can help, Their old familiar laughter play
The Cub Master will ask if we are ready, And wild and sweet the boys repeat
And we will do our best job all around, Oh come with us to Scouts today!
Later on, we’ll bake cookies, frosting all over our faces,
To pass them around, turn their frowns upside down,
Doing service is so fun, you see!
SKIT SERVICE 
Cub 1 – (Pretends to
pick up a ball, and
throw It in the air,
then swings other
arm over head to
hit the ball, like
playing tennis),
Cub 2 – What on
earth are you
doing?
Cub 1 – I’m doing
my service!
SKIT FLOWERS
#1 This year, we are
going to have lots
of Christmas
flowers.
#2 Why is that?
#1 Last year, I planted
all the Christmas
Bulbs.
APPLAUSES/CHEERS 
1. DRIPPY SNOWBALL-- Pretend to make a snowball saying (hee, hee, hee), lift arm
overhead and throw, water runs down arm, looking at arm saying Yuck!
2. SNOW GLOBE-- Pretend to pick up a good-sized snow globe, shake it up, and look
at it and say, OOO, AAH, pretty
3. FLOATING SNOWFLAKE-- Put your hands in the air, move your hands slowly dawn, in
left hand to the right to left to right action, until waist-high, saying, Chill Out!
4. WONDERLAND-- Pretend to be thinking, tapping finger on chin, saying, I wonder.
Get a big smile on face, with palms side up, and say, Wonderful!
5. SERVICE-- Saying, very ser ious – To serve, or not to serve? That’s
the question! Then ask, "Now what’s the answer!"
6. REPEAT AFTER ME—Group repeats everything the leader says,
"Winter—winter, Wonder—wonder, Land---land
How Grand—how grand!"
7. SANTA—“Ho, ho, ho!” Ho ld stomach as you laugh
8. UP ON THE HOUSETOPS—Pretend to slip, slide and fall off the roof and scream.
