Covered Wagon Inventory List

Work in groups of three boys.  Tell them they are getting ready for a trip across the Plains and need to equip their covered wagons.  Give them a piece of paper and have them list items they think the pioneers would have taken.  An alternative: they might make two lists - one for the 1800s time frame, and one with current day items which would have been nice to have.  (Radio, road maps?)
