Things are changing here at InsaneScouter.org and we hope you like where they are heading.

Thank You:

We would like to welcome our new fans and say thank you to everyone for being part of our wacky scouting family.

It has been a very long time since we last updated our legal docs, and with all the changes in the world it was time. Here are the links to the latest versions.

Newsletters:

We have moved to a new program for managing and sending the newsletters. Which means you can easily subscribe and unsubscribe now!

We know it has been a very long time since we last sent out a new newsletter but soon we will start sending it twice a month. Each issue will be full of ideas for your Scout meetings & outings such as games, songs, skits, crafts, ceremonies, and the wisdom from Scoutmaster minutes.

We are also coming out with a new weekly newsletter that will contain Scouting news, blog posts, jobs, youtube, podcasts, etc from around the world. Click here to subscribe.

Eagle Scout Congratulations Letter:

If you know of a new Eagle Scout that would like to receive a congrats letter from InsaneScouter, please drop us a note and include the new Eagles full name, a description of his service project & challenges over came, along with any other details you think would be useful. Gives us a few days and we will email you back with the letter as a pdf. Print it out and present it to the scout.

New Content

We have interviewed some new people that are making a difference in the Scouting world. Check out our interview with Cub Scout Eric

We have been featuring some new content to showcase some National and State Parks, to give our readers some ideas on where would be good places to camp out, or go hiking, mountain biking or horseback riding. So far we have written about the Pacific Crest Trail, the Dawkins Rail Trail (in Kentucky), a blog about things to do around PhilmontMount Magazine State Park (in Arkansas) and Dosewallips State Park in Washington. We will continue to add more of these neat places to go see and camp at as time goes by and they have links to get even more information about each site in the blogs.

Guest Writers:

Thank You to the volunteers who write for us!!! We really appreciate your efforts.

If you would like to write a column or send us a article about an activity your scouts were part of, please drop us a note.

New Web design:

There is more exciting news... Our new, modern and responsive (mobile friendly) design is finally almost done and you can get a sneak peek at https://beta.insanescouter.org

All of the progress we are making with InsaneScouter & keeping the site going comes at a cost. If you would like to help us cover these costs and keep the improvements coming, please feel free to make a donation.
