Looking for volunteers,. will you help us?

Greetings Scouters, I have a bit of news. US Scouting Project, better known as usscouts.org and InsaneScouter have teamed up. We are going to help develop a new mobile friendly website for them. They will be helping InsaneScouter in a number of ways including recruiting volunteers, providing guidance, and a number of other things that I will come to light at a later time.

To aid in this endevour, we are seeking a volunteer graphic designer to work with to produce the design for the new site. We will also need need a front-end volunteer to write the HTML, bootstrap, CSS, and javascript for the new design.

Additionally, we need volunteer PHP coders. There is a whole array of tweaks and improvements to the back office on the road map. I plan to manage all the tasks and assignments via Asana, the code resides in an SVN repository, and we will work from a development version of the site. Because of the nature of coding, you will need to be available a reasonable number of hours a month. There is no hard-set number but an hour a month isn't practical either.

Would you like to add something to your portfolio, get a referral or endorsement? I have 22+ years of professional experience as a PHP Developer and technical project manager and would be happy to do that for you, but you need to demonstrate your skills first. That goes for any volunteer, regardless of how you help.
