N-E-I-G-H-B-O-R-S

PROPS: Cards with the letter "NEIGHBORS" written on the front and description of the word on the back for the Cubs to read.

NARRATOR: What are the qualities you can find in your neighborhood? We will spell them out for you.

N - Nice. A neighborhood is made up of nice people.

E - Excellent. A neighborhood is an excellent place to live

I - Individuals. A neighborhood is made up of many different individuals.

G - Good Friends. A neighborhood is made up of people who are good friends.

H - Helpful. A neighborhood is made up of people who are helpful to each other.

B - Belong. A neighborhood is a special place for people to belong to.

O - Occupations. A neighborhood is made up of people who have many different occupations.

R - Reliable. A neighborhood is made up of many reliable people who depend on one another.

S - Sensitive. A neighborhood is made up of people who are sensitive to one another's needs.

NARRATOR: These are the qualities of the people who make up your neighborhood. The Cub Scout program helps develop these qualities so we will grow up to be the kind of neighbor you would like to have live next door to you.
