My Family Tree

Before den meeting, gather up as many old magazines and catalogs as possible, the more
variety the better. Have each boy then go through the magazines
and cut out pictures that remind them of their siblings, parents,
grandparents, and other extended family members. Once they have
all of these articles they can arrange them on a poster board and
write the name of the family member underneath the objects that
represent that individual. This causes the boys to think about the
other members of the family and helps build and strengthen those
relationships. When they are finished have them share their posters
with the den or with the pack.
