Centipede Race

Line up teams of 8, 12, or 16 boys each. Have the first four boys on each team straddle a broomstick
with only their left hands grasping the broom. On the signal, they run to the goal line and
run back. They give the stick to the next four boys in line who repeat the process. If any player
releases his hold on the stick, the team must stop and he must regain it before his team may progress
further.
