Flag Ceremony for December nights

Author:  Great Salt Lake Council

Our flag is bright with cheer, brilliant with courage, and firm with
faith. Many of our holiday traditions this month involve lights such as the
Star of Bethlehem, the miracle of the lamp, the Morning Star that enlightened
Buddha, candles on a Menorah, and the bonfires of Yule. Let us
think about these things as we pledge our allegiance to the flag.
