Cub Picnic

One day I chanced to take out for a picnic,
My Wolf Cub Pack! My Wolf Cub Pack!
We'd sandwiches and ginger ale a-plenty,
To fill the slack of my Cub Pack!
We went into the bush and started supper,
Where I lost track of my Cub Pack.
And that is where I woefully discovered
How much they lacked, my Wolf Cub Pack.
"Akela, Akela, look at this pussy-cat,
Isn't it a beauty, a white stripe down his back."
I tried to run--I tried to skip
But all I did was simply trip (pause)
Isn't any wonder I went home in a sack.
