Charlie Winter

Yesterday at Treasure Valley Mr.  (4 syl.) died.
Now they've got Scout Charlie Winter on a charge of leadercide.
Some scouts say he didn't do it, while others say he did.
But they all agree that Charlie was a problem kind of kid.
Oh, you can't chop your leaders up at Treasure Valley,
Then blame all the damage on the mice.
Oh, you can't chop your leaders up at Treasure Valley.
That sort of thing just isn't very nice at Treasure Valley.

Charlie broke into the axe yard on one Sunday afternoon.
He kept Ridge and Boonesville hopping as he hummed a boy scout
tune.
Charlie always did the slightest thing his good scoutmaster bid.

He said, "Charlie, cut it out!", and that's exactly what he did.

Oh, you can't chop your leaders up at Treasure Valley
Then get dressed and go out for a walk.
Oh, you can't chop your leaders up at Treasure Valley.
Treasure Valley is a far cry from New York.

Charlie got him in the sack where he had gone to take a snooze.
I hope he went to heaven, 'cause he wasn't wearing shoes.
Charlie sort of rearranged him with a hatchet so the say,
He was pleased to find his Boy Scout training finally came to
pay.
Oh, you can't chop your leaders up at Treasure Valley
Then blame all the damage on a skunk.
Oh, you can't chop your leaders up at Treasure Valley
You'll be sleeping in the outhouse not your bunk.

Charlie's mother came to see him on one busy parent's night
And when old Charlie saw her you'd have sworn there'd be a fight
But Charlie did it quietly and when all was said and done
He removed his mothers bustle when she wasn't wearing one.
Oh, you can't chop your mother up at Treasure Valley
Then go down to the lake and water ski
Oh, you can't chop your mother up
They'll lock you up and throw away the key
