Computers Need Discipline Too

CAST: Two Cub Scouts and Den Leader

SCENE: One Cub is working at a computer while the other Cub is off to the side working on some piece of equipment.

Cub #1: Oh no! Not again!

Cub #2: What’s wrong?

Cub #1: It crashed! The computer system locked-up!

Cub #2: Did you try giving it a good whack?

Cub #1: Are you crazy? This is a delicate piece of equipment.

Cub #2: Let me give a good whack!

Cub #1: Don’t touch it, I have already called the Den Leader.

Den Leader: What’s the problem?

Cub #1: I’m thinking it is a skuzzy interface problem or possibly the motherboard can’t read my video card upgrade.

Den Leader: I see. (Den Leader whacks the computer and says,) Don’t let them fool you. Just like Cub Scouts, computers need discipline, too!

All: Welcome to this month’s Pack meeting, "World of Computers."
