Feather On A Stick

Formation – Teams

Equipment – Yardsticks, feathers

Game: Have the teams line up in a single file. Give the first person in each line a yardstick and a feather. On the signal, they place the feather on the yardstick and as fast as they can, proceed to the marked turning point and return to the line. The next person repeats this process. The first team to complete the race wins. Note if the feather falls off the yardstick, they must replace it before they can proceed. To make the game faster – use a paper plate instead.
