The Moon And The Stars (La Luna y las Estrellas de la Manana)

Country - Spain

Formation – Informal

Equipment – a nice shade tree

Game – Find a tree that is casting a nice shadow. One person is the moon (la luna). That person is ‘it’, and has to tag the other players. The rest of the players are stars (Estrellas). The moon stays inside the shadow made by the tree. The stars run in and out of the tree’s shadow. They try to avoid the moon, who tries to tag them. Once the moon captures a start, that star becomes the moon. Then the game begins again.
