Two Syllables

Country - Greece

Formation – Circle

Equipment – Handkerchief tied into a knot or stuffed sock, plus a colored token for each player.

Game – Give each player a token. One player is chosen to be ‘it.’ They receive the handkerchief also. To start ‘it’ begins by giving the first syllable of any two-syllable word, such as ‘flash’, and at the same time, she tosses the ball to some other player. The player must instantly add the second syllable, such as ‘light’ (making the word ‘flashlight’). If she fails, she gives up her token and drops out of the game.

If she does not fail, she gives the first syllable of another word and throws the ball to another player. The last player left in the game is the winner. They hold up each token, one at a time, and the owner must redeem it by performing a stunt.
