Number Catch

  • Type: Pack
  • Equipment: Large ball

One player is chosen to be the pitcher and all the others count off starting with one to ten etc. The pitcher throws the ball as high in the air as he can while he calls one of the numbers. The cub whose number is called runs to get the ball. The pitcher and all the others race to get as far away as possible. When the player gets the ball in his hands he yells "STOP", and all stop running. The cub tries to hit one of the players with the ball. If he succeeds, the player who was hit is the pitcher for the next game, but if he misses, he himself is the pitcher.
