Today, we are going to fix for you a treat that's really grand; and make for you a recipe - the greatest in the land. First, we put in a heaping cup of red for courage true, and we'll add for loyalty - a dash if

heavenly blue. For purity, we now sift in a layer of snowy white - then sprinkle in a pinch of stars to make it come out right. When it is done, we have made for you our Flag, (bring out the flag and hold it up for all to see). "OLD GLORY", for which there is no substitute.

Now, let's pledge allegiance to our flag - Please stand and salute -

I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible with liberty and justice for all.
