The Boy Who Cried Wolf

By: Posted On: 2013-07-20

Recently I was talking with one of my friends daughters, who is six-year-old, about the old fable “The Boy Who Cried Wolf”. As a result she wrote this little story and draw this picture. We also watched the video below, of the original story being read.

The boy who cried wolf is a story about a boy who cried wolf. One day there was a boy named Jack. He owned the sheep in a village. The boy tricked the village people by yelling “wolf”. The people would come running. But one day he was sleeping and actually saw a wolf. He yelled, 'WOLF!'. Come morning the boys shirt was torn, because the people didn't come. As he tricked them to many times. That is why you shouldn't cry wolf. The end.

Hope you enjoyed. Please feel free to tell us about fables and legends your kids learn about and share with us their thoughts on facebook.
