Hello it is ptsteve again,

Just got back from our Christmas Party and awarding my Webelos 2's their Arrow of Light award and patch.  Had each Scout bring their parents forward to receive the parents pin when they received their patch.  Many of the parents came up to me after the ceremony and said thanks for being their son's Den Leader.  I managed to get through it all without tears, but now it is hard not to have one or two.

The last 2 Scouts to receive their Arrow of Light award were my sons.  When it was time to bring their Mom up, she was surprised and proud of them.  Now we have 4 Den Meetings left and then they are Boy Scouts.  Yes, I have signed up with the Troop they will all be going to as an Assistant Scoutmaster.  Hopefully, they continue to play the game of Scouting.

Thanks for reading this and Yours in Scouting, ptsteve
