Training for Summer Cub Scout Day Camp

By: Posted On: 2013-02-05

The ice has come off the lakes and it is Summer, time to go OUTSIDE!!!  Last night I went to training for the third year in a row for Cub Scout Day Camp which I am a Den Leader and attend with my son.  I saw some Scouters I haven't seen in a long time and really got some great ideas how to make camp more fun for the boys and easier for me as a Den Leader.

This is my last year as an active Adult Leader volunteer for our District Day Camp and even as I say this I know someone is going to come and ask me to help out again.  My sons next year will bridge over to Boy Scouts, so hence my last year as I how my thinking goes.  Well I hope you are going to have a great Summer and do some things Scouting related.  Remember keep up your Scouting Spirit.
