Summer holidays are here, so also camping season has definitely started and it is summer camp time. We always like going on camp, whether it is to a large Jamboree or a small cub camp as long as there are loads of fun activities we like it. One thing we don’t like is if it rains a lot on camp, as everything will get yucky and muddy.. But by the looks of it this won’t happen this year as it is very hot here. It is actually so hot that Scout isn’t even wearing a coat outside, but moved to shorts and a t-shirt (Hey no growling at me Scout, I am only telling the truth).
Of course there are downsides to the hot weather too, as some lakes get contaminated so you can’t swim in them.
You all know that if you need to find a campsite you can use the site www.roadceo.com right. This is a site from our friends at Insanescouter.
Scout and I will go to camp in the middle of a forest and Baloo has told us we will do some climbing, swimming, boating and loaaaaaads more. Also he says we will have lots of campfires, to which we agree as long as we can make s’mores or roast marshmallows. And of course our pups need to be allowed to come to camp too. But as he says it is no problem we will go and have fun. If you want to know what we have been up to on camp, you will have to look at our corner in the next newsletter.
Finally we want to say to all of you to have a grrrrrrreat camp and to have lots of fun, but please stay safe all of you. Oh and remember to send us any salmon you catch while on camp.
